Alice in Wonderland Trailer
So, another film with the dynamic duo. Yes! Depp an Burton. Although I felt their last collaboration was BLAH. This left a better taste in my mouth.

I don’t need to go into any great length about the film. You all have either read Lewis Caroll’s novel. Or watched the original Disney classic. As Alice is transported to this land of wonder. She battles many things. Thoughts, feelings, jabberwocky and countless other underlying themes. Befriended by mad hatters, rabbits and Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum. This fantasy is brilliantly brought to life by Tim Burton. Thanks to the effects of Dolby 3-D. This film is a stunning moving portrait. Although I won’t watch it again. I give a 3 pot brownie

Twilight Trailer/ New Moon Trailer
I wasn’t going to write a review for either one of these films. I felt people wanted to hear a positive review. So, I was going to leave that to a fellow F-Bomb reviewer to tackle. Then I thought long and hard about being objective. Plus people keep asking me what I think. So without further ado. Your first two for one special.

Prior to seeing these films. I knew nothing about the books. Or their popularity. Not much to my surprise. The movies are also hugely popular. The one thing that surprised me the most. Was the diverse age in the fans.

A story about a Arizona teen transplanted in the North West. Falls for the beautiful social misfit. Bella (Kristen Stewart) is the fore mentioned transplant. And Edward (Robert Pattinson) is the social misfit. As this fantasy of a love story develops. You discover Edward is a Vampire. And this fact doesn’t scare off our young Bella. Mean while Jacob (Taylor Lautner) is Bella’s childhood friend. And he too is in love with Bella. Plus he also carries a secret. Jacob is a Lycanthrope (werewolf). Jacob and Edward’s family has had a pact for a century or so. But of course with this bizarre love triangle all bets are off.

I can go on for days about the plot. But, you get the cheesy side of life. All though I am not a teenage girl. I can see the films’ appeal. But, being a male. I don’t understand the infatuation. In my personal opinion the films’ cinematography is decent. The lanscape and scenery made the film palatable for me. The one thing I kept thinking about during the film. Was what the hell is the author’s background? That my friend is where the story is. So, whether you are “Team Jacob” or “Team Edward”. I say wait for DVD! I prefer “Team Alice” (Ashley Greene). It is the hair!

Where the wild things are Trailer
The much anticipated release has arrived! Though my opinion my contradict my fellow reviewers. I found this film to be a must see for children of all ages. We have all read Maurice Sendak’s classic book. Now with the creative genius of Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers. The book now has been brought to life. Although purist may find the film not so palatable. The film does provide a darker, melancholy feel. And at times lifts you up with its child-like games. I recommend seeing this film. The screenplay is brilliantly written. The direction is spot on. So, put aside the book. And enjoy the film for what it is. A film filled with imagination! I say F-YA to this film!

District 9

District 9 Trailer

If you are expecting an action packed Alien invasion movie than you will be disappointed, but if you are in the mood for an emotional journey and a well done film than this is the movie for you.  This film definitely has some hidden messages; it shows the evil that humans are capable of when they are faced with the fear of the unknown.  The Aliens are portrayed as creatures with feelings who have found themselves stuck in an unfriendly world and are trying desperately to get back home. I thought it was done very well.
